a little bit about me:

hey, my name is Grace

I was born and raised in Northwest Ohio. Currently, I live in Central Ohio, where I am a Catholic Missionary with Damascus. I work on the media team there and love that my job is to create art and media that brings people to a place of encounter with the Lord.

my relationship with art:

I love to create. Throughout school, art was always my favorite class. My free time has consistently been taken up by painting and drawing. I think art has formed the way I connect with the world and I live my life seeing the world through a lens that pursues beauty and creative artistic expression in every moment. John Paul II's Letter to Artists has had a major impact on my creative process and the way I live my life!

my relationship with photography:

I first picked up a camera in high school when I was on yearbook staff. After graduating high school, I became a full-time missionary with Damascus, which is where I learned all of the photography and digital media skills that I know. I started off taking photos and videos for retreats and Summer Camp at Damascus, and I am so grateful for all of my mentors and leaders who taught me media skills. Now, I am one of the main photographers here and part of my job is to teach other missionaries how to create and Capture the Heart of the Gospel through photography, videography, and creative media. My two favorite things to capture on camera are Adoration and Weddings!
